After 42 days on the Camino, a clean, comfortable place really matters. This one was cute, and even the shared bathrooms were spotless.

Serge and Bénédicte made us feel like family and were generous with useful tips, from nearby places to see to local wine and food. The beautiful setting made the stay feel like a little escape.

We paid a reasonable rate for one night, and the wide-open countryside nearby was lovely for a walk. The beds were comfortable, the rooms in good shape, and there was a separate shared cabin for the bathroom and toilet. The new owner, who had only recently taken over, welcomed us with drinks. We were there in May while touring the Loire Valley châteaux, hoping to visit Chambord the following day. Breakfast was generous and made with local products.

The forest view is stunning, and the cabins and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was generous, especially the homemade yogurt and brioche. The managers were friendly, attentive, and always around when needed, with guests' well-being clearly a priority. Good value for the price.

Our two kids loved staying at La Rossignolerie too. Christine and Gilles were so welcoming and looked after everyone, with plenty of good advice. The family cabin was well equipped and the beds were really comfortable. Breakfast and the packed lunches were good quality, with local or homemade food. We'd happily recommend it.
