10/10
The owner was extremely polite and welcoming, and clearly loves what he does. The €15 menu included a full meal made with local produce, plus a glass of wine and tea or coffee. I expected small portions at that price, but they were plenty filling. I stopped here while driving through France with my family and was completely surprised by how good it was. The quality for the price is unlike anything I’ve experienced, so much so that I joked it must be a money-laundering scheme. I’d give this place a Michelin star and highly recommend stopping in. If I lived nearby, I’d be eating here so often I’d gain a lot of weight within a month!

A classic French auberge, easy to find near the motorway in central France. We had a very clean room, a comfortable bed, a good shower, and an efficient heat pump. Dinner was excellent at 14 euros including wine, and breakfast was classic French with excellent coffee. A great overnight stop on the way to skiing or the south of France.

Close to the motorway, so it’s handy for an overnight stop. The room was nice and clean, and the heating was good.
