The owner was warm and easy to talk to, and he spoke excellent English. On our first day he let us park outside the hotel, and he also shared tips on places to visit nearby. I stayed for a week in late August 2023 with a family member and loved the place. Our room was well equipped and immaculately clean, and breakfast was very good, especially the coffee. I’d highly recommend this hotel.

Right in the center of town, this hotel has secure parking and a very clean room. The bed, shower, and view were all fantastic. Everyone at reception was friendly. Highly recommended.

The hotel’s location made it easy to enjoy everything Vallon Pont d'Arc has to offer. We stayed in room 403, which I think is the best-looking room in the hotel, on a corner with two balconies, a table and chairs, and a view over the hills and pool. The pool came in handy for my wife while my son and I were out canoeing. We skipped breakfast, since it was pleasant to walk into the village for a meal. We also didn’t use the hotel parking. For our two-day descent of the Ardeche, we left the car at the Vallon Pont d'Arc nautical base, then parked on the other days at the free lot near the city cemetery, about 800 meters from the hotel.

The rooms are spacious, clean, and air-conditioned, and the pool has both sunny and shady spots. Right in the heart of the village, l'hôtel Berneron has very comfortable rooms and great service. The staff are so nice and accommodating, and really go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. If you’re passing through Vallon Pont d'Arc, I’d make a night here part of the trip.

The hotel is right in the center of p'ont darc, with a nice atmosphere and a good location. The service was very neat, the food was good, and there’s a pool and private parking. Our room and bathroom were clean, and the air conditioning worked well.
