Our room was old but had air conditioning, and we booked it without breakfast. The bathroom was quite narrow, about a meter wide, with a separate toilet. The view from the back was just a wall. There was parking, and the hotel was close to town and the tourist attractions.

We stopped for one night at Le Clos des Bruyeres while travelling from Arles to Annecy, and the staff made us feel welcome and were helpful. The hotel is well placed for canoeing on the Ardeche and for driving to places like Pont D'Arc and the town. The pool and air conditioning were much appreciated in the heat, and the area is stunning. I’d stay again.

A lovely room with a very nice balcony, friendly staff, and a handy spot close to both town and the attractions. I hope to come back.

The owner, David, went out of his way to collect me from the bus, drive me to the Cauvet Cave the next day, and arrange a lift back to the bus station when I left. The hotel was charming, in a charming village, and excellent in every respect: room, cleanliness, location, food, and service.

Friendly staff and a quiet, air-conditioned room with a balcony made for a good family stay or overnight stop. For a three-star hotel, it’s top notch, with free parking, fast wifi, a pool, a children’s playground, and a hearty breakfast.
