Laurent and his wife were very friendly and helpful, and I’d stay with them again if I return to the area. We enjoyed our 3 nights at Pavilion Kalensa while visiting Vals-Les-Bains. The bed was very comfortable, and breakfast was delicious, with both sweet and savory options. I highly recommend staying here.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Kalensa pavilion, just a short walk from the town center and the thermal baths. The old private mansion has a real sense of history from the moment you arrive, and its wooded setting makes it feel like stepping into another era. It’s cool and peaceful, and the owners are friendly and welcoming. Our rented apartment was perfectly adequate, and the swimming pool was a real treat in summer. Vals-les-Bains itself was a beautiful, peaceful village to discover. The owner also runs La Kascade in Vals-les-Bains, an excellent restaurant if you want to dine out.
