Cottage Hotel

The breakfast buffet was something we really liked, and we were happy with the service. Our rooms had air conditioning and the accommodation felt modern and practical. We were there on the last evening before the summer break, so the menu selection was understandably a bit limited.

It's outside the city centre, but right on the T1 tram line, and there's a fast food place next door if you don't want a full meal. The welcome was bilingual, our room was clean and functional, and there is a restaurant on the premises. For a 2 star hotel, it more than does the job. Very nice.

We only stayed one night, and with just two cars in the parking lot the hotel was clearly not full. Still, my husband and I were given a room farthest from the lobby, with three beds squeezed in. Two were horizontal and one vertical, leaving about six inches to walk between them. Later, we wanted a drink on the patio while waiting for dinner. The reception lady said it was open and we could get one there, but nobody came to serve us. My husband went in to ask for help, and she said she was the waitress. She knew we were outside but didn't come until we asked. Terrible service. I wouldn't recommend the hotel.

The hot and cold buffet breakfast was great. The rooms are cramped, and the bathroom is even tighter. You can't shower without flooding the bathroom floor. The receptionist, maybe a trainee, seemed to be fumbling around.
