Kyriad Vannes Centre-Ville

Just outside Vannes’ old town, this was a great base for our stay. The room was roomy, very clean and comfortable, with extra pillows and blankets. The front desk was very helpful, and the service was impeccable. Breakfast was really nice, too, and the price was very reasonable. We’d highly recommend it. Many thanks for a great stay in Vannes.

We liked the comfortable room and friendly, helpful staff, and the breakfast buffet was very nice. The hotel is an easy walk from the lovely old town, with secure parking behind the building.

The staff were great to us, and having reserved parking on site was a real plus. Call ahead to reserve a space. The room had very little in it, and the bed was uncomfortable for me because I had back pain. Dinner was good overall. My wife had the steak both nights and liked the taste, though there was a lot of gristle to work through. The first night she ordered clams, but they were too salty and smelled too fishy, so we sent them back and she got steak instead. I had the steak and lamb shank, and both were good. My white asparagus starter was one large cold piece, but it tasted fine. Breakfast was good, though on both mornings they ran out of food and guests had to ask about missing meats, eggs and bread. The Swiss cheese was sliced very thinly, too. Oh well, this seems to happen at other hotels as well.

The clean, quiet room made for a nice stay, and the historic town is in a great spot for exploring. Our parking space had been reserved in the hotel car park as requested, even though we arrived early. The gentleman who checked us in was friendly and helpful, and spoke good English. I’d definitely stay again.
