Breakfast was basic but there was plenty, and the room was spotless with a great shower. It’s a very small, modest hotel, but it worked perfectly for an overnight stop on the way to the Amsterdam ferry.

The white wine from Toule was lovely, and the set menu was fantastic value.

The rooms feel a little dated.

The manager was kind and reserved. The rooms themselves were decent and clean, but the stairs up to them were in poor condition. At 7 euros, breakfast felt a bit expensive for just hot chocolate, a slice of toast and a croissant. I’ve had better.

After your response, you could still refund me €30, and then everyone would be satisfied. I absolutely don’t recommend this place. They refused my request for an exceptional free cancellation because of my wife’s health problems. It feels as though they care only about €46. Completely unprofessional, avoid it at all costs.
