We drove out expecting a quiet place to recharge, but the dining room was noisy, and the stay wasn't worth the drive or the money for us. The food was good, with portions that weren't too large. The swimming pool was cold, and using the jacuzzi, sauna, or anything else cost an extra 45 euros. Our room was dirty, and we saw black mold in the shower.

The hotel has a lot of potential. The grounds and communal areas seemed well cared for, the receptionist kindly showed us around, and we enjoyed the heated pool despite the cold temperatures and strong winds. The riverside setting is beautiful, right by the mountains and within 15 minutes of Corte. Our room had decent furnishings, a modern but small bathroom, and a little terrace with river access. But it smelled odd, felt very humid and unclean, and had moldy damp patches, dead insects, and hairs. Coffee and tea in the room also cost extra. Breakfast was 24 euros per person and felt wildly overpriced for the limited choice and very average taste, especially for something described as Corsican specialties. The room was 98 euros a night for two, and the breakfast price felt like it was meant to make up for that. Other hotels would charge 10 euros, maybe 15 in rare cases, for this kind of breakfast. Some things need addressing before the hotel lives up to its potential.

We had a lovely room with a private balcony and great facilities. The restaurant was friendly and welcoming, with tasty food and great wine. Beautiful hotel in a stunning spot, with a lovely pool overlooking the views and a beautiful river. Highly recommend.

The garden is large but lacks atmosphere, and the place felt less charming than it looked in the photos. The location and surroundings are good, and the room was okay, but not four-star quality: the clothes shelf had no door and the floor tiles moved. Service was poor. I was surprised to learn the second coffee capsule had to be paid for. The restaurant was a very bad experience. The tuna was the worst I've ever had, and it was the worst restaurant in Corsica. Completely not worth trying.

The grounds and location are fabulous, with dazzling nature around them. There's a flowing river you can swim in just 20 meters from the room. Our restaurant experience was bad, and the problem wasn't resolved, so we didn't eat there again. Rania did her best at checkout, and we love her. The place is recommendable.
