B&B Hotel Verdun

Good value for the price, and the room was quite good and clean. The air conditioning was welcome, the shower was good, and there was plenty of parking. The bathroom overall was on the small side, though the location was easy to find. I didn’t like the automated entry system: the code failed, and the man on the remote intercom was bombastic and rude.

The hotel is in a quiet area, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are wonderful and helpful. We’ll definitely book again when we’re back in the area.

There were lots of Brits staying here on different road trips. The staff were friendly and helpful, and after a long day I was glad to be able to get a cold bottled beer at reception. The self-serve breakfast was good too. It’s a clean, well-equipped budget hotel with air conditioning, which we definitely needed. A nice place to stop for the night.

A really comfortable bed and excellent room cleaning made this a great base for my four-day battlefield visit. I found the hotel through Google Maps and booked direct, which was easy and cheaper than the bucket shops. Restaurants are an easy walk away, you can walk into the town centre, and there’s a spacious car park.
