The owner was welcoming and friendly, and the place had a rustic charm to me. It’s simply equipped, but kept clean and in good order. We got a huge double room, a bathroom and shower just as large, and a balcony. The bed was comfortable too. Excellent value.

The staff were friendly, though they mostly speak French. We had a balcony room for three nights, which was quiet at night and perfectly adequate. Breakfast was okay, nothing special, and a shower curtain would be a good idea. Getting there was frustrating: we tried several times to ask about transport by phone and email, but got no reply. The hotel was also closed when we arrived, even though the online listing said reception should be open.

A little cockroach in the bathroom was part of the problem. The rooms were dirty and nowhere near good, and breakfast wasn’t good either. Several friends had the same experience. It was bad, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

8/10
The owners were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and tidy. A standard hotel, with a secure underground car park if you need to leave a precious car or bike overnight.

Good value in a very convenient location, and the manager was really helpful. The plumbing was loud, and we could hear the rooms around us. I’d come back.
