The staff were helpful, and the house is in a handy spot in central Verdun, within walking distance of the train and bus station. The rooms seem to vary quite a bit. Mine was the first one on the right upstairs. It had a shower and sink, but the private toilet was outside the room.

The people were nice and the atmosphere felt really cosy. It’s right in the centre of Verdun, and the war-related sights are only a 10-minute drive away.

Five stars for Roman and the Tintin things he had collected in our room 😊

A quirky place with spot-on decor, just a few minutes’ walk from the centre. There’s free parking nearby, and the staff were excellent.

A really friendly, lovely place with a Belle Epoque feel. We were only passing through France, but it was well worth going off the beaten track to stay here.
