We booked a massage and some time in the Jacuzzi at the on-site spa, and both were really nice. The garden has several spots where a group can sit together, so it would work well for friends travelling together. My husband and I had a lovely, peaceful stay in the middle of wine country.

I had a really good four-night stay in this lovely house. The courtyard is beautiful, and I’d happily recommend the guesthouse.

The garden and shared spaces are lovely to spend time in, with art throughout and daylight coming through the windows onto views of the property. The rooms are furnished with real elegance, and the whole stay has a kind of charm that’s hard to find in places that feel standardised and interchangeable. Breakfast was a whole experience, with fresh, thoughtfully chosen food, a view of the garden and a lovely conversation. The hosts were a big part of what made the place feel so special. The “maison” reflects their class, or perhaps the house gives that impression of its hosts. Either way, it all feels wonderfully French, just as many of us from abroad imagine it. It’s also ideally situated for visiting the chateaus in the region. We left already knowing we’d come back. Thank you, and congratulations on creating such a special place.

The host was charming and respectful, and our room was comfortable. Breakfast was generous too. This elegant home sits right in the middle of a cute, quiet village, and everything feels very classy.
