Campanile Melun Vert St Denis

Breakfast was alright, but there wasn't much of it. After 7:00, most things were gone and not much was brought out to replace them. This might work for a short business trip of two or three days at most. The rooms are small with low ceilings, which seems typical of Campanile, and ours felt dirty, with worn, damaged furniture. The outside of the hotel is run-down as well.

It was very quiet and clean, with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped kitchen. The room, shower, and bathroom were all huge, and the toilet was separate. There are lots of shopping centers nearby, plus direct transport to the train station that takes 7 minutes. The train to Paris takes 45 minutes. I'd come back. I gave it 4/5 because a few things need attention: the shower head holder wasn't fixed firmly to the wall, the bathroom door is hard to close because it drags across the carpet, and sometimes there was a bad smell from the shower drain after using it. Otherwise, it's pretty much perfect, and the apartments with 2 bedrooms work for couples or families.

The rooms were a good size, and the shower was good. Breakfast was a reasonable French-style one. It's a clean, decent place to get a night's rest, though it was expensive. We tried to get into Premiere Classe next door, but it was all closed up.

The staff were friendly, and I slept well, but the room was very basic. The shower holder was broken and the bathroom was a little dirty. Room and breakfast came to over €100, which didn't feel worth it. €60 might have been acceptable.
