La Grange de Sophie

The beds were comfortable, but I found the decor a bit much, with so much to look at. At check-in, the owner wanted us to look through the restoration photo album, which wasn't great when we were tired from the trip. The accommodation is near her property, so you hear cars coming and going and the gates. It feels more like staying under a very demanding host than in a holiday rental.

Breakfast was a real treat, plentiful and varied, with cakes, brioches, jam, apple juice, and pancakes, all made by Sophie, Christophe, and their daughter Florine, who was there Sunday morning. They welcomed us like old friends, then Sophie went over the weather, local sights, and nearby restaurants so we could settle in easily. The place was spotless and everything was in great condition. We had private parking, a roomy kitchen and separate living room, spacious bedrooms with very good mattresses, and a fully equipped bathroom. The location suited us too, quiet but still handy for the places on our list, including Le Touquet, Montreuil, Le Crotoy, and Baie de la Somme. It was another lovely B&B stay, and impeccable really sums up our three days. Thanks for everything. We hope to come back, and hope you keep things just as they are.

We went for a weekend to relax near the coast, and this was nearly the perfect spot. The owners were really welcoming and pleasant. The cottage is charming, with a well-equipped kitchen, a shared living room, and three bedrooms. Breakfast was generous, simple, and delicious. We'd definitely recommend it.

I'd recommend either set menu, the €25 one with a main course and dessert, or the €29 option with a starter, main course, and dessert. The only small snag is a tree in front of the restaurant, but Google Maps still gives you clear directions.
