Jean showed us everything we might want to know about the apartment. It was very nice, worked well for our needs, and sits in a quiet spot with a view over Vienne while still being well placed for getting into town. The downside was the weather during our visit, minus 6 degrees outside, so we couldn't, or didn't, use the outdoor facilities, which looked lovely. We'll need to come back when it's warmer.

We had everything we needed to cook dinner, and we enjoy cooking. The kitchen was well equipped, and the apartment was very comfortable over our five nights at La Bâtie. We ate several meals while looking out over the River Rhone from different viewpoints, and that view was the highlight. It was hot while we were there, but the air conditioning was amazing. Jean was very kind, and it was a pleasure to meet him. If you're staying in Vienne, I wouldn't hesitate to book La Bâtie. Thanks, Jean, for a wonderful stay.

Jean gave extremely clear directions for getting to his place and was excellent at keeping in touch. The accommodation was superb, with fantastic views.

Jean welcomed us warmly and was helpful when we arrived. The place itself was fantastic, with amazing accommodation, exceptional views, and a beautiful garden. You can easily walk down the pedestrian route into the old town or cross the river to the Roman-Gallo Museum.

The bright, welcoming apartment had an incredible view and made a peaceful spot to step away from everyday routine. We spent one wonderful night in Vienne there. It was a short stay, but truly refreshing, and I'd highly recommend it.
