Hôtel Inn Design Vierzon

The room itself could have been much nicer with better upkeep. After tidying, the same sheets were put back on the bed, the towels were only folded and rehung, and the floor wasn’t even vacuumed. Breakfast was fine the first morning. On the second, the coffee machine had broken, which I can understand, and they did provide an alternative, but the coffee in the jugs should have been warm. I’m not saying the staff are incapable. Maybe the pay is so low that being on their phones feels understandable, or maybe they’re simply unmotivated. Firing people isn’t the answer. They need better guidance from a manager who takes pride in the hotel.

We left after breakfast feeling ready for the long drive, and there was plenty to eat. During our overnight stay, the manager welcomed us warmly, was very polite, and spoke good English, so our limited French wasn’t an issue. He offered help if we needed anything and clearly worked hard to make sure we enjoyed our time there. Thank you.

The staff were kind and glad to help, and there was plenty to eat and drink at the cold buffet breakfast. There weren’t any vegan choices, even milk. The bedroom was fine, though the bathroom could have been cleaner. It’s a convenient, inexpensive place.

The rooms are small, but they worked well for an overnight stop when all we needed was somewhere to sleep. The air conditioning was a welcome extra. It’s easy to reach from the main road, and we got a really friendly welcome when we arrived. We were travelling south for our holiday and I’d stay here again if I needed to stop nearby.
