There aren’t any shops in the village, so you have to go to Villar d'Arène or La Grave for those. Still, it’s a charming mountain village with lovely views of La Meije and Le Bec de l'Homme, and plenty of hiking trails starting right there. A peaceful place for a weekend break from everyday life.
A pretty little hamlet in a convenient spot, with lots of hiking trails starting nearby. It’s a really peaceful place for a relaxing holiday.
The front row pitches have lovely panoramic views, and there’s direct access to the lake. The downsides: the sanitary facilities weren’t very clean, and the shower had only a trickle of water. The children’s playground felt uninviting and had no shade. Reception closes from midday until 3 pm, so check-in isn’t possible before then. We had to wait in a line of eight motorhomes.
