A very pleasant room and a warm, perfect welcome, with excellent advice. Just the kind of bed and breakfast we like, and a great base for exploring the region.

This was a very disappointing experience. I tried to use a Dakotabox voucher to book a night, and the owners told me to make the reservation through the Dakotabox website because their availability there wasn’t up to date. Two dates I requested were refused. As agreed, I waited until early 2020 to suggest another date, but that was refused too. The owner then cited her family life as the reason, which I found unbelievable and completely unprofessional. I booked somewhere else and got a positive answer straight away. It seems some professionals sign up to these gift-box sites only under pressure.

The hostess was wonderful, with a fantastic welcome and excellent suggestions for sightseeing and restaurants. The house is superb, and our room was perfect: lovely, comfortable, and private.

The room was spotless, and the gentleman served us a hearty breakfast. We were delighted with our stay. The owners are charming, and this is a must-do if you’re visiting the region.
