Villa de la Croix

We arrived a night earlier than planned, and Anne-Lise and Phillipe still managed to fit us in. They welcomed us without any fuss and made us feel at home. The room was lovely, we slept really well, and breakfast was a great start for the journey. The homemade food was fabulous too, with a nice choice of wine. We had such a lovely stay and will definitely come back. Thank you, Anne-Lise and Phillipe 👍

The dinner we booked downstairs was a real highlight: a beautiful three-course homemade meal, then breakfast before we left. The food was locally sourced, including the cider used to cook the chicken and the fig jam served with fresh croissants. Our room was spacious, clean, dog-friendly, and had everything we needed. It was also very quiet, and the bed was so comfortable, with the softest linen we’ve ever slept in. We got a great night’s rest before a long drive. The hosts were very accommodating, and we already can’t wait to stay again. Highly recommend!

The meals were a big part of what made our stay memorable. Dinner featured local produce prepared with care, and breakfast had homemade treats, fresh bread, and local specialties. We found the beds wonderfully comfortable after eating so well, and the rooms were exceptionally clean, with fresh linens and attention to every detail. Our hosts were warm and attentive, always ready to help while giving us space. This felt like a genuine taste of local life, with people who clearly take pride in their place. We left refreshed and well fed, already thinking about coming back. A lovely choice for an authentic French stay with hosts who care.

We spent a relaxing week here, and it suited our needs perfectly. Anne -Lise and Phillipe were friendly, polite, and welcoming, and nothing seemed too much trouble. Their recommendation was outstanding, and their family was charming. The breakfasts were the best we’ve ever had, and the dinners were top class. We’ll be back and would recommend it to everyone.
