B&B HOTEL Villeneuve-Loubet Village

The mattress was comfortable, but there wasn’t much else to like. The room was extremely basic, with no suitcase rack or fridge, and no nightstand, just two tiny wall shelves, one without a power socket. It was dirty, mostly dust and hair, and the WiFi in room #59 was very poor. The toilet area needed basic maintenance too: the showerhead leaked from the side, and the sink smelled like sewage because the drain was clogged.

The hosts are very friendly and do their best to help, but the rooms could be cleaner. We stayed in three different rooms for different reasons, and every bathroom really needs a complete makeover. Please also provide basic things like hand soap. Going without air conditioning on the first night was annoying, so make sure it works in every room. At the prices charged, the rooms need an upgrade, and breakfast could be better for the money too.

We had a terrible experience. The room was cold and smelled very musty, and the air conditioner wasn’t working. The hotel information said it was warm and that they’d switch on the air conditioners for heating the following week. When I asked about the bad smell, they said they’d carried out preventive measures that day and that the products smelled that way. That was a complete lie. I asked twice for a different room because we had a two-year-old baby with us, but they wouldn’t change it. It was impossible to reach the manager.

At 4am we woke to find bedbugs crawling over our bed and left in a hurry for our safety. We were bitten so badly that we had to go to the hospital for shots. I took photos of the bugs and bites in room 57, but the hotel has ignored my messages and deleted them. One reply said, “we do not have bed bugs”. They won’t acknowledge what happened, and my message about guest health and safety went nowhere. We paid €222 for one night, then got bitten and ignored, with terrible customer service and no concern for our health. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Do not stay here, and give me my money back.
