Ibis Charleville-Mezières

The restaurant was excellent, and the staff were really friendly and exceptionally good at their jobs. It’s in a quiet area, though close to the highway, with free parking on site. The rooms are larger than average, very clean, and well maintained, as is the hotel. Until next time!

The staff are great, and there’s decent parking for the bikes. We get a comfortable bed, a good-sized room, and excellent aircon, plus good food and breakfast. We often stay here before catching the Rotterdam-Hull return ferry, since it lets us take one last ride through the Ardennes before the boring motorway to Europoort.

A safe in the room was the only thing I missed. Otherwise, the rooms are large and modern, with a comfortable bed that’s neither too soft nor too firm. The staff are friendly, parking is good both in front and behind the hotel, and the breakfast buffet has enough options. I’ll visit again when I’m in the area.

There were last-generation Tesla superchargers, and they gave us free dog chips for our pets. Ibis was friendly as usual.
