The apartments may look out over the parking lot, nearby residences, or even the sea. The building is showing its age, though the shared areas are kept up well, and private parking is a real plus. It’s a lovely residence and one of just a few in Villers-sur-Mer. Rental prices are much lower than at the hotel next door.

The sea is just 2 minutes away. It’s a gated residence, everything is ready to use, and the location is great value.

The residence faces the sea in a quiet spot, close to shops, restaurants, the casino, and cinema. Mini golf is nearby too, and the tennis courts aren’t far. It’s halfway between Deauville and Cabourg. Villers-sur-Mer is a lovely family seaside resort, with huge sandy beaches and a picturesque town centre. The shops are good, and the market has Normandy specialties. You can take long walks along the pier or through the nature reserve park, with its lake and varied birdlife. If you’re sporty, there’s bike rental, and the paleontological area is an interesting visit. It has a microclimate.

Mine’s near the sea, and when I open the patio doors I can hear the seagulls. But it’s too small for four, and not everything was included, so I had to buy things I normally wouldn’t. I’m staying there with my partner and our two young children.
