Camping Le Parc de Paris

Cabin 266 was a practical, clean place to unwind after long days at Disneyland Paris. We chose one of the more affordable options since we knew we’d be out most of the time, and it had what we needed for a comfortable stay. The site is about 20 minutes from the parks, so it made a convenient base for our trip. We visited out of season, when several facilities were closed, though what we saw looked very good and probably add to the stay during busier times. Some of the other accommodation looked newer and roomier if you want an upgrade. We thought it was good value and would recommend it to families looking for an affordable place near Disney.

Torcy was handy: the big hypermarket and train station are about a 10-minute drive away, with quick trains to Paris or Disneyland. Parking there is easy at weekends, but really difficult on weekdays, so get there before 8. The caravan was clean and had amenities, though the two-bedroom one felt too cramped for our family of four, with no storage. I’d pay for a three-bedroom next time just to have more room for luggage. We came in mid-February and the weather was all over the place. The campsite looked tired and bleak in winter, with no pools, restaurant, little shop, or entertainment open. Summer might be different, but I wouldn’t recommend coming before everything opens in spring or summer.

We stayed four nights, and when our flight home was delayed, the staff let us stay until 6pm, which was great. The site seemed well looked after, with cleaners and other staff always working around the park. The pool looked nice, though we didn’t have time to use it. Our cabin was clean, warm, and had everything we needed, including coffee and sugars. There was a small terrace with a table and chairs, and they just ask you to leave the place as you found it. I’d contacted the park about arriving late, and they were so helpful. When we got there, someone greeted me and my 14-year-old daughter and was lovely, nothing was too much trouble. We booked because it was near Disney and the other place we wanted to visit. We’ll definitely be back.

Paris and Disney are easy to reach by car or train, and there are restaurants and bakeries close by. The accommodation was nice, with adequate heating and amenities. When anything needed fixing, someone came out quickly. The site was clean, with plenty for kids to do, including little play areas between the chalets. Recommended.
