La Ferme de Mezoutre

We used the smaller reception room for the cocktail hour, and its little upstairs mezzanine made it feel especially cozy. The main hall is grand and welcoming, while the kitchen works well for putting on a buffet. It’s a lovely, peaceful spot for a rustic autumn wedding, with everything well equipped. The bedrooms are roomy and comfortable, each with its own bathroom. The owners are charming too.

There was plenty to discover in the area, and the manager was happy to share ideas about what to see and do. Our room had enough space and French doors that opened onto the garden, and it was so quiet we could hear birds. Breakfast was plentiful. We had a very good stay in this charming place.

Marie greeted us so warmly, and breakfast was very good. We only spent one night here, but the beautiful, restorative setting and spacious room with its comfortable bed have us thinking about coming back for a long weekend. There’s lots to see and do nearby, while the place itself is wonderfully quiet. I’d recommend the Mezoutre farm for a restful weekend.

Marie knows the region well and gave us useful pointers for getting around and sightseeing. We came for one night and were greeted kindly; after that, everything went smoothly. The generous breakfast was a plus, and the room had a Logis de France feel and a good hairdryer. The one drawback was that the room wasn’t perfect. I’d still recommend it without hesitation.
