The nearest train station is just around the corner, and although the hotel is on a main road, we couldn't hear the traffic from our room. There are plenty of food places to choose from along the road. We used the hotel as a base for visiting Paris attractions. Our room was compact but clean and had everything we needed, and breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The staff were lovely and helpful, with a special shout out to Bilal. Great value for money, and I'd stay again on another visit to Paris.

After a chaotic trip from CDG airport, figuring out buses and taxis, we arrived close to midnight already stressed. The receptionist insisted we had to pay again because he said our booking hadn't been paid. He was very stern, and only after talking with his colleagues did he send us upstairs. We didn't get an apology. The room was nice and I couldn't fault anything else, though the window wouldn't stay open easily. It was quiet during our stay, and I only saw one other guest. At checkout, a different receptionist with curly hair offered us free breakfast and showed us how to use the coffee machine for a hot drink before leaving. Five stars for him! Thank you, kyriad. P.S. The room was a disappointment. It smelled a bit, and its condition was below average at best. The bathroom, though, was very large and impressively clean. We arrived quite late and rang reception. There is a second entrance on the side street, but the receptionist sent us back outside to use the main entrance. The welcome felt cold, impersonal, and unkind, focused only on taking my credit card and payment. At breakfast, the same receptionist immediately told me where to sit because the other places were reserved for a group. My place hadn't been set, and he asked for my room number even though he'd given me the room card only six hours earlier. Getting an invoice for my company afterward was extremely time-consuming and frustrating, especially with a customer appointment coming up. Never staying here again.

I've stayed here several times, but the area outside the lift still smells of sewage. The room is adequate, and I found the bed okay. My work colleague, though, struggled to sleep because his bed made him itchy and his eyes puffed up every morning. I don't know what was going on with that. Breakfast is very minimal, but the croissants are warm and fresh at 7am. The coffee is disgusting. There isn't much hotel choice in the area, sadly, but I'll try alternatives.
