4/10
The service was friendly and polite, but the waiters seemed a little overwhelmed and didn’t know much about what was being served. My spouse’s escargots weren’t presented as advertised, and when I ordered a bottle of Côtes du Rhône, they brought a different wine. The waiter couldn’t tell us whether it was still Côtes du Rhône. No huge deal, but at this price I expected more. We were both disappointed with the 26€ menu. I had the chopped tomatoes (« tartare de tomates »), rib steak and iced nougat. Everything was decent, though the steak was much too thin, but it didn’t live up to what I’d expect from a 26€ menu. The price to quality ratio was disappointing too.

It’s a quiet place with kind, welcoming staff, and the restaurant is excellent. Good value for money too. Definitely a place to stay!
