We'd just begun our cycling trip through France, and this was our first night after leaving St Malo. The host was lovely, and the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was perfect too. A great little hotel.

The owner was welcoming and helpful, and we had a delicious breakfast. Our room was bright and clean, and the prices were good. Right in the heart of Vitre, close to everything in town, and I really enjoyed staying here.

For a small two star place, this was a real pleasure to stay at. The people running it were friendly, approachable, and full of useful information. It's been my favorite hotel in quite a while.

There's no elevator, and the stairway is narrow. Still, the owner was very friendly, the rooms were clean, and the location worked well, close to the station and the medieval downtown.

We had a roomy, very clean family room, and the staff were friendly. Great location too.
