The hotel is handy for a one-night stop while traveling, since it's very close to the highway. I stayed twice on a trip to Spain and back. On the first visit things were OK, apart from waiting 15 minutes for someone to appear at the “24h reception” so we could check out. The second time, we were given a ground-floor room with some local bugs in it. It wasn't too bad, but then the back-door card reader was broken. While loading the car, we got locked out, and nobody was at the “24h reception.” The doorbell got no response for over 15 minutes. I left the room card and a note under the sliding entrance door. I couldn't bring myself to wait outside in the storm any longer.

Breakfast was good, and the buffet dinner had a decent selection, though much of the food was already a bit cold even though we arrived early. There weren't many other people there. We stayed overnight in a family room. Its layout was odd, with a small dishwasher, hob, and sink but no plates or anything. The toilet had no washbasin, so I had to cross the room to wash my hands in the open-plan bathroom, which was separated from the bed by a curtain. The air conditioning didn't seem to work, but it was too late at night to complain. The shower was barely warm that evening, so a bath wouldn't have been possible. The water was OK the next morning.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean with lovely-smelling soap. I slept comfortably in the bed. Breakfast was decent too, with soya milk and Earl Grey tea.

The lobby and dining area were uncomfortably hot, and there was a loud humming noise in my room that was still going at 01:00 am. The staff were friendly, the rooms were fine, though the bathroom could use a shower curtain.

The rooms were comfortable, and breakfast had a good choice of options. Staff were very friendly, and the restaurant and bar were good quality. It’s good value for money and in a great spot just outside Grenoble.
