At La Tonnelle, Sylvie’s hospitality was unforgettable. On my second day she surprised me with an aperitif, then cooked me a homemade dinner. I was so thankful. My room was excellent and the place was calm and quiet. I don’t speak French, but Google Translate helped me get by. I highly recommend La Tonnelle de Vouvray. Sylvie also brought out a bottle of Vouvray wine for the aperitif, and it was very good. I hope you remember me, Sylvie. I hope to come back soon. I’ll never forget your warm welcome and hospitality.

Sylvie was very hospitable. She put us in a better room than the one we’d booked and was flexible about changing the breakfast time. She even made homemade cake. Vouvray is a good location too, very convenient for a short stay.

That private garden was such a lovely surprise. We stayed in the family room at La Tonnelle De Vouray, which was comfortable and had both air conditioning and a fan. Sylvie, the owner, welcomed us so warmly and was incredibly kind. We’d happily recommend it.

From the house, it was an easy walk into the centre of Vouvray, where I found several restaurants for a meal. The house itself was interesting to stay in, and my hostess made me feel very welcome. She also had everything I needed ready, including off-road parking.

Sylvie made us feel very welcome and was happy to accommodate us. Staying in this gorgeous old house right in the heart of Vouvray was wonderful. I’d highly recommend it.
