Le Centaure

The staff were pleasant and professional, and the reception was welcoming. The hotel is dated, but at least it's there. It really needs a major renovation, and it's a shame the bathrooms are separate from the rooms.

The back parking lot was useful, and it was nice not to have to clean the room ourselves at the end. The room was spacious too, though the iron tables were very heavy and tricky to set up, and the tabletops didn't always fit properly. We still had a good evening, but there are things worth knowing before you book. We reserved the large room for a party, the one that holds about a hundred people. The welcome could have been better, and the quick tour gave us little explanation or detail. The decor and upkeep weren't great. The small storage room was so cluttered we couldn't properly store our food and drinks while waiting to serve them. Neither the fridge nor the freezer was empty when we arrived, so our drinks had to go into a freezer with pieces of meat. The room also hadn't been cleaned properly. We had to sweep it ourselves and pick up dozens and dozens of hangers scattered on the floor near the DJ booth.

For a cheap stay, the value for money is good. It's basic and dated, but I slept wonderfully and breakfast was enough. A nicer hotel would mean paying more.

A very affordable, basic hotel with a small room and no carpet. The toilet is shared in the hallway, while the private shower is small and ugly but works fine. The price-quality ratio is okay.
