I decided not to stay after all, since I was traveling alone and felt scared by what happened. I'd left all my belongings in the room, but went back around 3 AM to collect them and didn't sleep there. This has never happened to me before. It started with a completely unmarked reception area. I spent 10 minutes knocking on the house windows trying to find someone, with no answer. When I finally found the receptionist, she gave me the room key and electronic gate key. Then around 10 PM, while I was at a wedding reception, she sent very strange messages on Booking.com accusing me of lying and of pretending to be someone else by giving her names of other people who were meant to be staying there. I only saw the messages after midnight and panicked. If I could give zero stars, I would. I don't recommend this bed and breakfast. It was very poorly organized, and the messages felt like harassment, calling me a liar and making up stories.

Breakfast was served outside in the garden, with homemade jam and delicious croissants still warm from the oven. The garden itself is a whole experience, with lovely plants, flowers, paths, scents, and water features. You can see how much work and love has gone into it. We had a really enjoyable stopover and felt incredibly welcome. Our hostess was so warm, and after a long motorbike ride she even brought us a nice cold beer. The lodge was beautifully decorated, indoors and out, and had a lovely atmosphere. The sanitary facilities were basic, but that didn't bother us. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely come back. It's an oasis of tranquility, hard to put into words.

Chantal has such a lovely presence, and the place feels like a cozy little nest. The garden, room, and food are full of beautiful discoveries, all put together with real taste. A magical place I'd love to visit again as soon as possible.

We found a calm, magnificent setting where it was easy to recharge. The room was very nicely decorated, and the host was so friendly. It felt like a complete change of scenery, and we'd gladly repeat the experience.

The host made us feel warmly welcomed. The accommodation is decorated with a lot of care and great taste, and the garden is lush and peaceful. Absolutely wonderful, go for it!
