The room was peaceful, the bed comfortable, and breakfast filling. The place has a lot of potential, with its rustic feel in the middle of a typical village, while still being close to Strasbourg. There are cats in the house, though they stay outside the bedrooms. Anyone sensitive to dust mites should probably steer clear. Christine's welcome was fine, but her husband made a few unpleasant comments, maybe meant as jokes. We didn't feel very comfortable.

Alain was full of helpful tips for walks and places to see. We also really enjoyed the breakfasts, with everything we needed, and our room was comfortable with a good bed. Christine and Alain were lovely hosts. We had a great time visiting the Christmas market in Strasbourg, Colmar, and the nearby villages. Thanks for such a pleasant stay, and best wishes for 2020. The bed was super comfortable, the room clean, and breakfast really generous. We had a pleasant night in an authentic Alsatian setting and were warmly welcomed. Excellent value for money. I'd recommend it ;)
