La Demeure Des Vieilles Lanternes

The farmhouse is simply magnificent, and Jacques and Chantal make you feel so welcome. If you come to the region without sightseeing plans, ask them about what to do. Jacques really knows Normandy and will happily help plan your stay. We loved the generous breakfast, especially the delicious blackcurrant jam with cold chocolate 🤤. Fantastic welcome, a truly excellent place to stay. Don't change a thing, you're the best! We'll be back 🙂🙂🙂🙂

Breakfast had plenty to choose from, and you only had to ask. The owners clearly enjoy welcoming guests and sharing ideas for discovering new things. We arrived at the appointed time and were expected. The restored house is typically Norman, with impeccable bedding and decor. It's peaceful outside the village, surrounded by nature, old beech trees and century-old ash trees, with birds singing all around. The departmental roads make it easy to reach the remarkable sites along the Alabaster Coast, even Honfleur.

We booked a last-minute weekend away last week, and it was our first time in a bed and breakfast. Mr. and Mrs. Langlois are charming, and we felt right at home. The regional products at breakfast were lovely. The house has a typical local style, and our room was spacious, nicely decorated, and quiet. We'd happily repeat the weekend. We highly recommend it.

A family feel, a distinctive building, and rooms and amenities that were all perfect. The couple are lovely and full of energy. Highly recommended!
