For one night, this simple IBIS Budget did the job, and I'd stay again. Our room faced the hotel side rather than the motorway. It was clean and had three beds, a small toilet, and a small shower, all of which worked. The price was okay: 60 euros including the charge for our Golden retriever. There's a huge grassy area that was ideal for pets, and the hotel is conveniently close to Yffinac and the motorway, with shops and restaurants nearby. Parking was good, though there are two car parks, one much bigger, and it's hard to spot both at night. I wasn't sure why the hotel needs so many electric car charging points. I'd recommend it.

For a budget hotel, it did the job for our one-night stop, especially with the cycle trail nearby. The double bed was long and fairly comfortable, but the single bed was only set up with sheets and a wool blanket, while the double had a duvet. The room smelled strongly of cigarettes, which we found unpleasant since we're used to hotels in the UK being entirely smoke-free. It had a double bed with a single bunk above the head end. We had a room for three, but I wouldn't want to stay longer than a night.

The rooms were clean and the Wi-Fi was okay, but I wouldn't choose to stay here again. It's better than sleeping in your car, though that's about all I can say for it. The highway noise and thin walls meant I kept waking up every few minutes. The toilet door had no handles, so one person couldn't close it from inside. If you're travelling with someone, you have to ask them to shut the door every time you need the toilet, which is ridiculous. The cleaning staff seemed to be waiting right outside my door for me to leave, well before the official checkout time, though that may just have been my impression. Last, the manager came across as very unprofessional. Hostility has no place in hospitality, especially in a business that depends on politeness. I'd go somewhere else. Chances are high you'll find something better.

The rooms were nice and clean, though the bathroom layout was strange. Breakfast was very nice.
