ibis Saint Brieuc Yffiniac

The location feels a bit isolated, but the area around it is very quiet at night, and I slept well. There was no nighttime noise. As with every IBIS I've stayed at, though, the doors don't keep hallway sounds out, and some guests can be very loud, especially kids having tantrums. It's a typical IBIS, with comfortable bedding and a bathroom that does the job. The rooms were clean, the cleaning ladies were kind and smiling, and the service was very kind and friendly.

Getting around from here is a bit of a mission without a car, since it's out of the way. But for what it is, I've no complaints. The downstairs bar and restaurant had good vibes, and the staff were SO lovely, doing everything they could to make us comfortable. It's an ibis, perhaps an older one, so there's not much more to say about the hotel itself.

We were staying at the Ibis Budget Hotel next door, which was fine, and went to the Ibis Hotel for a meal. I ordered the Penne with Bacon and Chorizo for €13. They microwaved it behind the bar in front of us before bringing it over. The portion, as pictured, was very small, and I was still hungry afterwards. I wouldn't go back. 1/10.

The staff were friendly and worked hard. You can store bikes indoors, and dinner is available, though the choices are limited. Breakfast was good.
