A bad experience. The staff were very unfriendly. My friend has a gluten allergy and had asked ahead whether they could prepare something for her, but they didn’t, and she had to wait 20 minutes. The room smelled bad because the cleaning ladies were smoking in it.

The hotel has been renovated since my last visit and looks really nice now. Another perfect stay.

It’s fine for a quick one-night visit, but the rooms are a bit noisy since they’re right at street level by the car park, and there are no facilities in the hotel. We were surprised when we went to the restaurant for breakfast at 9:05. We’d been told breakfast ended at 9, the earliest breakfast closing time I’ve ever come across.

A handy overnight stop on the way to Holland and Germany. The rooms are basic but clean, though the bathrooms could do with updating. Breakfast is a simple buffet, but there’s plenty of it.

It was expensive, but I could make my own tea since the utensils were provided. I also enjoyed a bath, the bathroom water was really warm.
