Booking was a frustrating process because the hotel's own website is poor. We wound up using Booking.com, which is a shame since the hotel lost that margin. Still, the effort paid off: the rooms were nice, the people were nice, and the food was great.

We had a pleasant month here and I’d love to come back. The hotel sits by the lake, with a lake-view terrace restaurant and a good breakfast buffet. There aren’t too many rooms, but they seem suited to different needs. Inside, the design is stylish. There’s private parking outside and a handy underground garage. The owner is really nice, and the staff are kind and always smiling. Yvoire’s old medieval town is just outside, and the location also makes it easy to get to Geneva, Evian, and Annecy.

The lake view is beautiful, and the garden is lovely, with two outdoor pools. It’s a small, cosy hotel, the service is very friendly, and breakfast is excellent. I recommend it!

The food is a real delight, presented at a world-class level. A big, awesome wow. The staff are awesome too, young, vibrant, dynamic, and helpful. They made me the new Donna Cecile cocktail, now added to the existing drinks. It’s delicate, delicious, and refreshing, but warming too, served with ice. It brought back memories of my mother’s don pedro, which she made for us one Christmas, though hers had Jack Daniels and a few other bits.
