A Fontana

The cocktails were delicious, elegantly presented, and fairly priced for the quality. We weren't sure what to order, but the lovely young lady who served us was friendly and attentive, and helped us choose drinks with some great suggestions. We had a wonderful visit. The view was stunning, and the warm, inviting atmosphere made the place feel like a little slice of paradise. It's rare to get ambiance, service, and taste all together like this. We'll definitely return. A big thank you to the hosts!

It's easy to hike straight from the hotel, and parking is simple in the nearby free public carpark. You don't need to pay for one of the couple of spaces right next to it. The pool area was nice, drinks were easy to order from the big screen menu, and breakfast was decent. The honeycomb was something I'd never seen elsewhere. The location is great, with a view that lives up to its name. The shower was a bit hit or miss for hot water in the mornings. I found the room's 'no picnic' policy strange. They cleaned our room while we were at breakfast, which I find annoying, and there was no 'do not disturb' sign. They also left the empty glasses, so they just kept piling up.

The room design was amazing, the hotel was incredibly clean, and the location took our breath away. The pool and hot tub made the stay even better. It was the best surprise of our trip, and we'll come back. One thing was confusing: we had two different rooms over our two nights. The first was in a building across the street and was bigger and better than the room we had the second night, even though the smaller hotel room cost the same. ;)

We came with our son and his wife for a relaxing break, and couldn't have chosen a better place. The hotel attracts all sorts of guests, from couples and families with young children to groups and hikers, and everyone seemed content in its welcoming atmosphere. Although we'd been to the area before, this was our first stay here, and we'll definitely return. The owners and staff were charming, polite, and so helpful. The owner was patient on the phone while making our reservation and gave us all the information we asked for. On arrival we found two lovely bedrooms on the second floor, with a lift. They were very comfortable, with king-size beds, great mattresses and bedding, beautiful spacious bathrooms with separate toilets, desks, and cosy chairs. The rooms had lots of daylight from large window-doors to the balcony, plus effective blackout curtains for anyone who needs complete darkness. The air conditioning was at a comfortable temperature when we arrived, and the whole hotel was exceptionally quiet, with soundproofing that meant we didn't hear a thing in our bedrooms. The balcony was very spacious and had a wonderful view. The hotel's decoration is exquisite, combining simple design with original features and high-spec materials. Everything inside and outside was in great condition and very clean, and it's clear the whole team takes care of the place. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh and homemade products and everything we needed. We enjoyed it in a large, beautiful dining area with a terrace and balconies overlooking the scenery. The pool and jacuzzi were also lovely, with a peaceful atmosphere and wonderful views over the valley. You can book a space in the private car park beside the hotel. There are no security problems in Zonza or on the island, which is a particularly safe region. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful holiday!
