Llys Aeron Guest House

The welcome hamper was a nice start, and there was good off-road parking. We booked this short break at the last minute and found the apartment clean, comfortable, well equipped and nicely proportioned, with a beautiful garden to relax in. Although it’s self-catering, having breakfast available as part of the B&B was a good option. The river walk into town took us about 10-25 minutes, and we did it a couple of times each day. There’s also a bus right outside if needed, and an easy ride to Newquay. Aberaeron Harbour was being renovated, nearly finished, but it didn’t spoil the area. Great stay.

The hosts were very friendly, and the room was comfortable. Everything was exceptionally clean, and breakfast was very nice. Their special porridge recipe was delicious and well worth a try. It’s within walking distance of both the town centre and seafront. Highly recommended.

Jonathan and Kerry made us feel completely at home, and nothing seemed too much trouble. Breakfast was outstanding, with plenty of choice and quality local produce, served in a room overlooking the mature gardens. The house has an impressive Georgian frontage and lovely private gardens, and the wow factor continued when we saw our beautiful four-poster room. The tasteful decor, free tea, coffee and Welsh cakes, luxurious bed linen, soft towels, robes and slippers all showed real attention to detail. We were blown away by the whole stay and would highly recommend this B&B. Can’t wait to come back.

We came with our children for a nearby wedding we’d been invited to, and had an amazing weekend. The owners made us feel very welcome, and breakfast was absolutely delicious. The place was beautiful and comfortable, with amazing views. We’d recommend staying here when visiting Aberaeron.
