Hilton Aberdeen TECA

We had a great stay at Hilton Aberdeen over the holiday season. The Executive Lounge was one of the best I’ve been to, and I really appreciated the wide choice of teas and snacks. Breakfast was very nice, with good quality and plenty of options. The staff kept making sure we had what we needed, and Kevin and the whole team deserve special thanks for making the stay so enjoyable. Check-in was quick and easy, and the hotel was spotless and well looked after. I truly think choosing Hilton was the right choice.

Our room was large and clean, and the giant bed was super comfortable. Although it faced a main road, it was so quiet you wouldn’t have known. We had a complimentary room upgrade, which I found out about by email a few days before arriving. Reception team members Victoria and Maria gave us a warm welcome, and the upgrade included Executive Lounge access, though we didn’t get to use it on this trip. Each night we went to the bar for a nightcap. The restaurant and bar staff were all friendly and helpful, especially Shane and Eilidh, who looked after us during our three days there. Breakfast had plenty of variety and was well stocked, though more vegan options would be appreciated. The gym and spa were clean and a lovely place to relax. We stayed at the Hilton Teca while visiting family in Aberdeen, and we’ll definitely stay here again.

The hotel has great facilities and very nice rooms, with friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent, with a good selection. The dinner menu had fewer options, but still a reasonable mix, and the food was good. Evening restaurant service could be a little slow, though they were always smiling.

The location was fantastic and made getting around easy, and underground parking was available for £15 a night. The spacious, clean bathroom and very comfortable beds were highlights, and breakfast had a good range of choices. There were a couple of room problems: the fridge didn’t work and its door was broken. The light by the mirror was also poor, making it hard to use. Still, it was a nice hotel and a comfortable stay.
