Lochnagar Guest House

The host was the best, and the home was very well equipped. Having access to a shared mini kitchen was fantastic. Our room was huge, with opening windows, a large flat screen TV, a nicely sized bathroom, a double bed and a single bed, a sofa and even a mini fridge. The host supplied coffee, tea, cereal and fresh milk, greeted us when we got back from each outing and helped with our luggage. I highly recommend staying here.

The owners were so friendly, and I’d happily come back. It’s a lovely place with a very modern feel, comfortable beds and a handy kitchenette on the landing. You can help yourself to cereal, fruit and even milk. The railway station and Union Square are very close, though the guest house is tucked away on a quiet side street. Best guest house in Aberdeen.

We had a warm welcome and a lovely room for our weekend stay. It was peaceful and really quiet overnight. The little kitchen area was a nice extra. Shower pressure could have been better, but it didn’t spoil things. Would recommend.

The owner was lovely and had great suggestions for the area. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a great view of the garden, and there’s a nice shared kitchen with a few breakfast things. I stayed just one night before taking the ferry to the Northern Isles. The bus and train stations are only a few minutes away, and the ferry terminal is under a ten-minute walk.
