This is about the restaurant, which has reopened with traditional home-cooked pub food. Nice to have somewhere to eat after a few drinks, either in the pub or in the freshly decorated restaurant next door. I tried the homemade sticky toffee pudding and am looking forward to coming back for the Sunday roast special. 😋

Jason kept in touch with me throughout the trip and was so warm and welcoming. He really made me feel at home while I was exploring the Scotland. From the moment I walked in, the hospitality at the Brig Innz was amazing. I'd highly recommend staying here and supporting small local businesses. I'd come back in a heartbeat. Thanks, Jason, for such a memorable stay!

The room was comfortable and clean, but there were a few snags. Check-in took 15 minutes, room 4 had virtually no WiFi, and the tap had no hot water. Thankfully, the shower hose reached the basin.

The staff were friendly, and my room was just right for a short stopover. There's a bar attached, so an early night might be tricky. I went in and found it friendly too, and the music choices were fab. It played until 11.40, but I actually quite liked hearing it in the room.

Handy spot for what I needed, just for a one-night stopover. The room had two single beds and was small, with a TV about the size of an iPad. Music from the bar carried through until after 9pm on a Wednesday, so they should turn it down. There's no breakfast.
