The cave is an amazing sight, and the drive out to Durness and the Atlantic is beautiful. We’d recommend a swim in the sea, then a hot chocolate at the Art village. Back at the lodge, it’s peaceful, with a stunning view in the central Highlands. Alan and Yvonne are lovely, welcoming hosts and had lots of ideas for things to do nearby. A great base for exploring northern Scotland.

The lodge was lovely and clean, with beautiful views. Alan and Yvonne were kind and helpful hosts, and we had a wonderful week at Ceol Mor Lodge. We’d happily recommend it and hope to return soon.

The owners, Alan and Yvonne, were so helpful and made us feel welcome with some lovely touches. We loved our stay at Ceol More Lodges. The pod is thoughtfully designed, warm and comfortable, with everything we needed. It looks out across a beautiful valley and is well placed for exploring the area. I’d strongly recommend staying here.

We spotted a marten and an owl, and even saw a deer running in the distance during breakfast. The view over the grassland, hills and river is lovely, and the lodge is clean and peaceful. It has great beds, a fully equipped kitchen and a welcoming package. The hosts are the sweetest and know all about the area, the wildlife and things to do. We’d definitely recommend it and hope to come back one day.
