Student Only Polden Studios

Having restaurants, cinemas, an arcade and bowling alleys on the high street is handy, and Lidl and Morrisons are very close for shopping. The area could be a bit better, though. The place itself is gorgeous, with great amenities, your own en suite and plenty of room in the common room, so it’s an amazing place for students. Have a chat with jas & dave if you stay, they always have a good story. An awesome place overall, I’d 100% recommend it :3

The rooms stay warm and comfortable in winter because the heating works well. I’ve hardly got anything to complain about. Dave and Jas at reception are friendly and approachable, and they respond quickly when something comes up. They clearly care about residents, respect different cultures and regularly arrange events for different festivals. Security officer Hassan is kind, responsible and always ready to help. The location is convenient too, with a bus stop and pharmacy right downstairs and shops and supermarkets about a 10-minute walk away. It’s a great place to live.

Dave and Jas were so kind as I started studying in the UK, and they’ve put on little surprises and events that helped us settle in and make great memories. When I arrived, Dave had already brought all my pre-delivered things into my allocated room, so I could get comfortable straight away. I can’t say thank you enough. It was the best way to begin my first time studying in the UK.

Jas and Dave are a huge part of what makes the atmosphere so positive. They’re patient, helpful and supportive, and you can tell they care about students and their work. Polden Studios is an inspiring creative space, with excellent facilities and a comfortable place to develop ideas and work on projects. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for an encouraging, professional creative space.
