Update: We had a perfect night, and the staff were great. I’m very happy and fully recommend it. In the first few minutes after checking in, the room looked clean and well presented, and the bathroom was clean too. There was quite a bit of traffic noise through the window, but I thought it would be fine by bedtime. So far it seemed like a bargain. 🤞

The decor is basic, but the bed was very comfortable and I slept well. The room was probably the cleanest I've ever seen. I'd stay again.

The service area was under repair, with temporary fencing blocking much of it and making the exits hard to find. In the room, there was no hairdryer or shower soap, and light came through the windows because there were no blackout curtains. When it rained, the blocked gutters made noise.

Just like Travelodge: clean, tidy, and in a perfect spot for travelling. Get there early to find deals.

The rooms were well kept and the beds were comfy, with no problems during my stay. Wi-Fi worked fine, and parking was free once I entered my registration into the tablet at reception. The services across the road came in handy for a quick snack. I was touring the UK and stopped here, where receptionist katie was lovely and gave me tips on good biker roads, chippies, and pubs. It was cheap, with plenty of access to the A1. Couldn't have asked for a better hotel. 10 out of 10, highly recommend and I'll stay again. 👍
