The winter menu had a lovely range of dishes. My cottage pie with seasonal veg was perfect, and the portions were huge, so you really get your money’s worth. There’s a good drinks and wine menu too. The restaurant was nicely decorated, the facilities were very clean, and the staff were attentive and lovely. Two women looked after us, one with dark hair and a sort of animal print top, the other with blonde hair and a black top. Both were excellent. I’d highly recommend eating here.

We ate here four times during our seven days at the Dalmore House, and the food and service were spectacular every time. Drew made each visit especially fun. Thanks to everyone we met for being so kind and making the experience even better. We can’t wait to visit Scotland again and come back.

The Auld jail building had a good room, and the service was generally very good. Special thanks to the red haired woman who checked us in and showed us to our room, she was particularly good. The food was quite good too, and I enjoyed the chicken fajitas. There was also a young, cheeky guy working there who might be called Rufus. He was nice enough, but a bit too cheeky for his own good and didn’t seem to care much when it mattered.

A great hotel for the area, and one of the best places to eat. The bar has a nice retro feel, and everything is unfussy but brilliant. Every staff member was lovely.

The room was cosy, clean and quiet, and we had a pleasant stay. Breakfast was great, and the food was of a reasonable standard with very generous portions.
