It’s a great location and good value for the price. I was unsure after reading some reviews about the door systems, but they seemed easy enough to use. I’d stay again.

Right in the centre of Ambleside, so village walks, shops and restaurants are all close by. The great outdoors is on the doorstep too, making it a good base for hikers. There’s something here for young and old.

The hotel’s location is perfect, though parking is horrible. The rooms are spacious and clean, the shower was amazing, and the bed was so comfy I wanted to take the mattress home. I got a good night’s sleep before finishing the national 3 peaks.

The room was cute and cozy, and the facilities were amazing. The pub downstairs was REALLY loud, but shutting the windows should do the trick. I’d definitely book again: prices were almost half those of other hotels in the area.

Right in the town centre, with lots of shops and places to eat within walking distance. It’s only a two-minute walk from the hotel to the bus stop, and buses make it easy to get to places like Windermere and Ambleside. The price was reasonable. We had a family room with a separate private bathroom, and it fit four adults.
