The only small gripe was that the beds were very hard. Aside from that, we loved our stay at the Quaysiders Club and would happily recommend it for a Lake District trip. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the apartments spacious and clean, with plenty included and a great little pool on site. It’s easy to get to local towns and nearby hikes, and there’s a good pub within walking distance. We’ll be back.

This was our second stay. The apartment was clean and spacious, with free WiFi and a TV in every room. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and there’s dedicated off-road parking. Pubs and lake trips are a two minute walk away. There’s also a small, warm pool and a decent jacuzzi.

We’ve booked again for next year, after staying here for the second time. This visit we had a self-catering apartment, with room for up to six and everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was clean and well serviced. The location on Waterhead pier in Ambleside is excellent. Would highly recommend it.

The apartment was immaculate and cosy, with fresh, clean sheets and towels. The bathroom was spotless and felt like a luxury hotel. The kitchen had everything for cooking, including a dishwasher, and the owner had thought of even small things like a tin opener. Each room had a TV, with Sky TV in the lounge, and heaters warmed the place up well on cold winter nights. The owner was friendly, helpful, and easy to reach. The location is ideal: right across from Lake Windermere, which we could see from our window, and about a 10 minute walk to Ambleside town centre. It’s quiet on the outskirts, handy in the busy summer when town can be crowded and traffic heavy, and gives easy access to the main walks, beauty spots and tourist attractions. Absolutely perfect for a Lake District visit.

The team were approachable, friendly and helpful, and we had a lot of fun here. As timeshare owners we can swap resorts around the country and world. This isn’t one of the best, but it’s among the best located in this part of the Lakes District. Our two-bedroom apartment was comfortable enough for four adults or a family of four, but would feel very tight with more people. We stayed for the week of 2 Dec ’22, and the weather was surprisingly sunny and windless most days, with just a few spots of rain. We used the well-equipped kitchen a lot, and the heating came on quickly enough. One warning: the electricity bill was eye-watering even though we kept a close eye on usage. We didn’t make much use of the indoor facilities, as we were more interested in exploring the surroundings, towns and villages.
