The team really made our four-night stay more enjoyable while we explored a small part of the island. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, though we would have preferred a walk-in shower. We also really enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. Thanks to everyone there.

The room was excellent, spotless, and had a big shower plus plenty of little luxury touches. Staff were genuinely caring and helpful, and the food, especially the seafood, was the best. Loved the cosy fire and well-stocked bar too. Great value.

Breakfast and dinner were both very good, and the rooms were a step up from the other hotels on our Hebrides coach tour. Mine was a single, but still good quality, with a bath and shower rather than a cramped shower cubicle. WiFi was available. The hotel is at one end of Stornoway, though the rest of town is an easy walk away. Recommended.

We found it easy to get into central Stornoway despite the hotel being just outside the centre. The spacious rooms were comfortable, and the restaurant food and service were faultless, with an excellent menu. There’s plenty of parking, although some local drivers appear to cut through it to avoid the nearby traffic lights.

We had a family meal here, including one gluten-free diner, and everyone enjoyed the food. Our waitress was lovely and carefully read the orders back to make sure they were right. Service was quick, the food was nicely presented, and there were good gluten-free choices. I did think they could offer more gluten-free desserts.
